Volkswagen ID 3 150kW Match Pro 59kWh 5dr Auto [Pan Roof] Review

The model
Read full reviewThe VW ID 3 is a very good electric car, especially at the cheaper end of the range where it offers the best value for money. It's decent to drive, comfortable and roomy. The MG4 offers more standard kit and a better electric range, while the Cupra Born is a bit more agile and fun to drive. If you buy an ID 3 we'd recommend going for the Pure Essential model, but if you want a bit more standard kit, the Pure Match trim is a worthwhile upgrade.
The trim
See full equipmentIf you can afford to, we think it's worth upgrading from the Pro Essential model to the Pro Match. It doesn’t cost much more but adds plenty of niceties, including alloy wheels, wireless phone charging, heated front seats and dual-zone climate control.
The engine
See full engine specsThe Pro and the Pro S both have a 201bhp electric motor that sends its power to the rear wheels, although the former model is faster due to its smaller, lighter battery. The downside of this is that you get a shorter range: 269 miles officially versus 344 miles.
