Volkswagen T-Roc Cabriolet 1.0 TSI Style 2dr Review
Category: Convertible
Section: Version review

The T-Roc Cabriolet allows you to have a small SUV with an extra dimension of fun and freedom, but even Volkswagen predicts it will only make up 7% of T-Roc purchases. With a lofty driving position, comfortable ride and more rear seat space than rivals, it can just about combine family living with wind-in-your-hair excitement. For real convertible thrills, though, the Mini Convertible is a much more enjoyable prospect.
The trim
See full equipmentThis trim comes with all you’ll need including 17in alloys, LED headlights, dual-zone climate control, automatic lights and wipers, Bluetooth and wireless CarPlay and wired Android Auto smartphone connectivity.
The engine
See full engine specsDue to the extra 195kg the convertible weighs over the regular T-Roc, this 109bhp engine (only available with Style trim) takes a yawning 12.3sec to get from 0-62mph. We suspect it will need merciless thrashing to get anywhere fast.
