Read full reviewIf you’re sold on the looks and can accept the practicality penalties of the Volvo C40, it stacks up well compared with its immediate competition, especially on performance. It’s also a refined and pleasant electric car to drive, justifying its premium billing. The regular Volvo XC40 Recharge offers similar performance and is a better all-rounder, though, so we’d recommend going for that instead.
