The Volvo XC60 is not the best large SUV to drive; if you're looking for something sportier there's the Porsche Macan, while the Audi Q5 is more comfortable. However, being classy inside, roomy and well equipped, the Volvo is still a strong choice. Moving up the trim list can make its price less appealing, though.get the best price
Trim: R DESIGN Pro
Keeps the sporty looks of R-Design but adds even bigger (21in) alloy wheels, air suspension, a heated windscreen, a heated steering wheel, keyless entry, a powered tailgate, adaptive LED headlights and LED foglights. It is rather pricey, though, and the air suspension results in an inconsistent ride.
Engine: 2.0 T6
This 306bhp petrol engine is both supercharged and turbocharged, and feels grin-inducingly quick getting up to speed (0-62mph is just over five seconds). Like the T5, though, it doesn’t have the low-down grunt of a diesel engine, and isn’t very fuel-efficient.
