For The McLaren MP4-12C is jaw-droppingly fast, and with incredible grip and unbelievable composure, it's a very easy car to drive very quickly. It still rides fantastically, too, and it's the most efficient supercar of the bunch.
Against The unflappable composure means you don't quite engage with it like you do a Ferrari 458 Italia. It doesn't sounds as good, either.

The name sounds rather ordinary, but what does McLaren MP4-12C actually mean? 'MP4' has been the chassis designation for all McLaren Formula 1 cars since 1981. It stands for McLaren Project 4.
The 12 part is a bit more prosaic. The '12' refers to McLaren's internal Vehicle Performance Index through which it rates performance criteria both for competitors and for its own cars. The criteria combine power, weight, emissions and aerodynamic efficiency.
The 'C' is short for carbon and represents the carbon MonoCell.
However, it’s the McLaren pert of the name that’s more important, because that ensures that this is one of the most technically-advanced cars on sale. The driving experience really reflects that, too – some of what it can do has to be felt to be believed.
