I own a 1.6 GT HDI - it's a great little car. I think the three-door version is more sporty looking than the five-door model.
I love the glass roof, which makes the cabin very light. The electric steering is great, too - it makes reversing easy.
Running costs are good as well - I get 49mpg, which is very good around town. Before, I owned a larger car, whose running costs were very high.
i have owned and driven Peugeots for the last 17 from 205 to 307. Have had my 307 110 hdi DTurbo for 6.5 yrs and not with out its faults. From drop links to 3 cd autochangers. Nearly £900 replacement clutch last year diesel filter, abs fault and pollution fault light on which was another £300 and not resolved.Nearly £1500 spent on this last year. Very frustrating as on the money this could be a really good car Drove the 207 110 Sport and it has restored my faith in Peugeot. Was seriously looking elsewhere at Ford and Vauxhall Corsa & Fiesta. It is eager handles well with real poke and has some real class.Peugeot have scored a winner here and will update in due course once I have got the car

There has only been one problem with it - had to get two tyres fitted and it had only done 9000 miles. The tyre fitter broke the tyre-pressure sensor, which cost £140 to replace.
Overall, though, I would recommend one, because they're great to drive, fast and you don't see many on the road.
Wish i had gone for the more powerful engine. The 1.4 is gutless. This is made up for by the handling. The build quality is also very good and does not feel like a supermini. I had 1 recall so far but never let us down.
