I traded in my Ford Focus 1.8 for this car. It was an ex-demo car, just a few months old. Getting used to downing the clutch pedal to start was interesting (made the man on the test drive laugh as didn't know how to start it).I enjoy the high seating position especially on country roads with hedges. With the turbos it accelerates when needed and has good power all round. Fuel economy is good. Seats are comfy and supportive. First service went with no hitches. Only downside is that i feel a car costing £18k new should have steering wheel controls as it's annoying having to look to change the cd etc. Had them on my Focus and miss them but other than that an all round belter of a car.
