Used test: Kia Stonic vs Skoda Kamiq vs Volkswagen T-Roc: verdict

These three small SUVs cost around £6000 less on the used market than when bought new. But which is the best?...

Skoda Kamiq vs Kia Stonic vs Volkswagen T-Roc

Our verdict

In third place, we have the Stonic. It's well-equipped and the best car to drive, but the firm suspension means it’s the least comfortable, and is also lacking in practicality and economy compared with its competitors.

That's where the Kamiq comes in. It’s an extremely well-rounded small SUV and one that’s more spacious, comfortable and economical than the Stonic. We’d crown it the winner of this test if it weren’t for…

The T-Roc. That’s right, it’s taken the number one spot. It’s on a par with the Kamiq in many areas, but takes the cake due to its quieter drive, larger boot and better driving position.
