Audi A3 2.0 TDI 150 S Line 5dr S Tronic Review

The model
Read full reviewComfortable, enjoyable to drive and sufficiently spacious inside for the most part, the Audi A3 is as good as ever – better even, now that a facelift has brought up the level of interior quality. The Sport 35 TFSI version is the best of the bunch for private buyers while the 40 TFSIe is one of the best plug-in hybrids around for company car drivers.
The trim
See full equipmentThe S line trim is worth considering if you want a sportier looking and handling A3. It includes 18in alloy wheels, sports suspension, S-line-specific front and rear bumpers, rear privacy glass, stainless-steel pedals, a flat-bottomed steering wheel and customisable multi-colour interior lights.
The engine
See full engine specsThink of this as the 35 TFSI’s diesel cousin. It too has 148bhp and delivers similar performance. Its extra low-down shove makes it a stronger motorway machine but we’d still recommend the 35 TFSI, which is cheaper to buy.
