With the larger battery, the Audi A6 Avant e-tron is an excellent long-distance cruiser; range, comfort and refinement all impress. As an estate, though, the BMW i5 Touring and Volkswagen ID 7 Tourer are both more practical.
The S6 features 21in wheels, bespoke styling tweaks, a heated steering wheel and an extra touchscreen, which allows your front passenger to watch videos.
Go for the high-performance S6 e-tron, and you'll be be getting an electric estate that can accelerate from 0-62mph faster than plenty of sports cars (it needs just 3.9 seconds with launch control engaged). The S6 is an expensive choice, though, and it has a shorter range than most of its cheaper sister cars.
