If you value a sporty drive, you’d be better off looking at the BMW iX3 or Jaguar I-Pace, but otherwise the Q8 e-tron is an excellent choice.

See full equipmentAs its name suggests, the Black Edition brings various black detailing that makes the car look even more aggressive than an S line-spec Q8 e-tron. Like the S line, the Black Edition also gets extended leather trim and privacy glass.
The engine
See full engine specsStepping up from the 50 quattro model to the 55 quattro gets you 402bhp (versus 335bhp) and cuts the 0-62mph sprint time from 6.0sec to 5.6sec. However, more importantly you also get a bigger, 106kWh battery, which increases the official range from 283 miles to 333 miles. This battery can take on electricity at speeds of up to 170kW, so a 10-80% charge is still possible in just 31 minutes.
