Find your perfect 5 Series

Cars available now

The new BMW 5 Series is a better all-rounder than its direct rivals, combining a classy and user-friendly interior with impressive refinement and handling. Just bear in mind that some items of equipment that you’re likely to want are expensive options, and fully electric models (including BMW’s own i5) are cheaper to run as company cars.

Upgrading from M Sport to M Sport Pro trim brings stylistic changes, such as black exterior highlights, a subtle rear spoiler, an illuminated front grille, red brake callipers and 20in wheels. Whether these things are worth the extra outlay is a matter of personal taste.

Thanks to an official pure electric range of 63 miles, the 530e plug-in hybrid is the cheapest BMW 5 Series – aside from the fully electric i5 – to run as a company car. And with a combined output of 295bhp from its petrol engine and electric motor, it provides all the performance you’re likely to want.
