The Citroën ë-C3 has plenty of space inside and a respectable range between charges. Efficiency should be better, though, it has no Euro NCAP safety rating and it's disappointing to drive compared to a Renault 5. The entry-level Plus version makes the most financial sense.

The entry-level trim for the ë-C3 isn't too sparsely equipped, with 17in alloy wheels, air-conditioning, a 10in infotainment touchscreen and automatic windscreen wipers fitted as standard. It keeps the price down too.
