Review

The Citroën C4 in entry-level You! trim with the Hybrid 110 engine is temptingly priced and well worth a look. It’s an easy car to drive every day, being quiet and comfortable. What’s more, it's relatively cheap to run and represents an affordable way into a coupé-styled SUV. However, some rivals are simply more well-rounded (the VW Taigo is better to drive and more spacious, for example).

Range-topping Max comes with electrically operated, heated front seats and a heated steering wheel, as well as ambient interior lighting.

No hybrid tech here, but the PureTech 130 provides quicker acceleration than the Hybrid 100 and is roughly on a par with the Hybrid 136.
