No problems with the comfort of the driver's seat in the Accord, although it does lose marks for offering height, not reach, adjustable steering only. Otherwise, the cabin is well ordered, with simple, large rotary controls for the stereo and ventilation, easy-to-read dials and a decent selection of storage places.
Honda Accord Saloon space & practicality
The Accord remains one of the most spacious family cars. Space is good and the rear seat will take two in comfort, and three at a pinch, each with a three-point belt. The boot is well shaped, but rather tight and, although it doesn't offer much more space, it's better to choose the practicality of the five-door.
Honda Accord Saloon equipment
A good showing. Even base models have air con, remote central locking and electric front windows. SE models add climate control, electric rear windows and a sunroof, SE Executive and Type-V get leather upholstery, alloy wheels and a CD player. The Type-R has a more spartan spec, with air-con an option, no side airbags and electric operation only on front windows.
