Read full reviewThe Honda E is a car you buy because you love the way it looks. And fs you do so you'll own an electric car that's good fun to drive, well-equipped and relatively upmarket inside. Sadly, with such a limited range between charges, a confusing infotainment system, a high price and a tiny boot, it's objectively harder to recommend than many rivals.
The trim
See full equipmentRange-topping Advance trim adds luxuries such as a heated steering wheel, a self-parking system and heated front seats, plus you also get a more powerful electric motor than with the entry-level Honda E. It's too pricey to recommend, though.
The engine
See full engine specsThis 152bhp powerful electric motor is fitted to the range-topping Advance model. It cuts the 0-62mph time to 8.3sec (from 9.0sec) but, in practice, the difference isn't that noticeable. We'd save the money.
