OMODA

Owned by Chinese giants Chery, the Omoda brand arrived in the UK in 2024, and is intended to appeal to a young audience by offering distinctive designs and lots of in-car tech for affordable prices.

Its first UK car, the Omoda 5, is a family SUV that's available in petrol and electric forms (the latter is badged E5). However, there will also be smaller and larger Omoda models.

Hopefully, these will improve on the 5, which is let down by a fidgety ride and disappointing practicality.
