2021 What Car? Car of the Year to be revealed this week
All this week, we're naming the best new cars for every need and budget, while on Thursday we'll crown one model the overall Car of the Year for 2021...
To make the 2021 What Car? Awards more useful than ever to Britain’s car buyers, each category will feature not only a winner, but also a series of best buys for individual qualities such as value, comfort and practicality.
The qualities chosen for each category are based on the results of What Car?’s 2020 reader survey, where people were asked what they most valued when choosing their current car.
To be eligible for a What Car? Award, a car has to have been tested back to back with its rivals, both on UK roads and at What Car?’s dedicated test track. Plus, it has to be available to order now.
Winners will be announced from 9.00am Monday to Thursday, with the overall winner being revealed at 3.45pm on Thursday 14 January.
