New Aston Martin Zagato revealed

This is the new Aston Martin V12 Zagato, which will be unveiled at the Villa D'Este Concours in Italy tomorrow.

advertisment

The 510bhp 6.0-litre car will first compete at the Nurburgring in May, with Aston Martin aiming to enter a pair of cars at a 24 hour event in June, also at the Nurburgring.

Aston Martin says a small number of the cars will be built for road-going use 'in a very short period of time'.

The cars will inevitably by extremely expensive, not least because all of the aluminium body panels are hand-crafted.

Performance and price details have yet to be announced, but we expect it to blast from 0-62mph in around 4.0 seconds and cost in the region of 135,000 the purchase price for a V12 Vantage.
