So far, we’ve only tried a late-stage prototype of the Nissan Ariya. It’s easy to drive and the interior quality is impressive but some rivals have longer ranges and can charge up more quickly. Ride comfort could be better too.

Evolve trim is available exclusively with the larger 87kWh battery. It comes with all the luxuries you get with the 63kWh Advance model, plus a panoramic sunroof, Bose sound system, ventilated front seats and the ability to charge at 22kW from a three-phase supply.
