However, if you’re looking for a funky urban EV, there are cheaper options available, such as the Fiat 500 and Mazda MX-30. Those looking for an EV to ‘do it all’, meanwhile, would be far better off with a Kia Niro EV or Volkswagen ID.3, both of which are far more spacious and will go much further on a charge.

See full engine specsWith 129bhp the Mokka will accelerate from 0-60mph in a perfectly reasonable 9.1 seconds. There’s also plenty of grunt at low revs and it’ll whisk you up to motorway speeds with little stress. As standard both petrols come with a six-speed manual gearbox, but the 130 Turbo comes with the option of an eight-speed automatic.
