The Volvo XC60 is not the best large SUV to drive; if you're looking for something sportier there's the Porsche Macan, while the Audi Q5 is more comfortable. However, being classy inside, roomy and well equipped, the Volvo is still a strong choice. Moving up the trim list can make its price less appealing, though.get the best price
Trim: Momentum Pro
The Pro Pack adds an electric driver’s seat, a heated windscreen, a head-up diaplay, a heated steering wheel, adaptive LED headlights, keyless entry, a powered tailgate and LED foglights to Momentum trim. It's worth considering if that list appeals.
Engine: 2.0 D4
If you can manage with front-wheel drive this is our top recommendation. With 188bhp the 2.0-litre diesel isn't super quick but offers relaxed and easygoing pace, and it's the cheapest and most efficient version of the XC60 diesels — even the mild hybrid B4 and B5 models.
