The Citroën ë-C4 X is the obvious choice if you like the ë-C4 but need more boot space. It’s just as comfortable and has the same intuitively laid-out interior. What’s more, in Plus and Max trims, the list prices are identical to those of the ë-C4 so there's not much of a cost dilemma. We'd go for top-spec Max, which gets you plenty of kit and a slightly longer range.
The trim
This is your entry-level trim for the C4 X. It gets a decent amount of kit, including 18in alloy wheels, two-zone climate control, a head-up display, electrically heated and folding side mirrors, as well as automatic wipers.
The engine
This is the only engine available with the C4 X and it’s a hybrid. It provides good performance (0-62mph in 8.0sec) and impressive fuel economy.
