The S2000 can feel cramped for larger drivers because of the wide central transmission tunnel and the door mouldings. Nor is there any steering wheel movement or driver’s seat-height adjustment. However, there are neat touches such as drilled pedals and a button to start the engine.
Honda S2000 Sports space & practicality
Fitting two normal-sized adults into the S2000 is quite a squeeze, so it’s no great surprise that there’s little space left over for oddment storage around the cockpit. The boot is a reasonable size on paper and would just about manage a couple’s holiday luggage, but its shape is rather awkward, making it a relatively impractical proposition.
Honda S2000 Sports equipment
If you think the S2000 is a no-frills, stripped-out road racer, then think again. It comes with an electric hood, CD player, air-conditioning, alloy wheels and leather upholstery. Windows and mirrors are electric and the central locking is remotely operated. Metallic paint is an option.
