To make choosing your ideal version easier, there are only two main models. In terms of engines, there is a pair of 2.0-litre petrols and two 2.1-litre diesels. If you’re after something quicker, you can buy AMG versions with either a 3.0-litre V6 (C 43) or a 4.0-litre V8 (C 63). If you like the sound of all that power, check out our separate C 63 review. Rear-wheel drive is standard on most models, but four-wheel drive is standard on the AMG V6 and optional on the least powerful diesel.
