What Car? says...
The Mercedes S-Class saloon represents the ultimate in limousine luxury the German brand has to offer. But for those of us who want all that technology and luxury in a car that’s both sportier to drive and more stylish to look at, there’s this: the two-door S-Class Coupé.
It's available with a choice of three engines: an 'entry-level' 4.0-litre turbocharged V8 in the S560, an AMG-tuned 4.0-litre V8 in the raucous AMG S63 and a mighty 6.0-litre turbocharged V12 in the range-topping AMG S65.
Better still, the S-Class Coupé is cheaper than rivals from top-flight luxury brands, such as the Bentley Continental GT and Aston Martin DB11. Is it a better buy than those alternatives, though? Read on to find out.
And if, after reading our review, you decide you want to buy an S-Class Coupé, head over to our New Car Buying service to find out how much you could save on the brochure price.
