2017 What Car? Servicing Satisfaction Survey

Franchised dealers in detail: cars up to three years old

Lexus takes the top spot for newer car servicing satisfaction; its customers can hardly fault the brand for the politeness of its staff and the quality of its work. Hyundai and Honda came next, with strong scores in all three categories.

Peugeot and Volvo complete the top five, with the French brand posting one of the highest scores for value for money, and the Swedish one second only to Lexus for its quality of workmanship.

It seems that Suzuki dealers aren’t as good at keeping newer car owners satisfied as it is at looking after those with older vehicles, though; the brand scores 89.7% for cars up to three years old and 91.3% for older ones.

Propping up the bottom of the table, Porsche and Audi’s poor showing can be blamed on the poor value for money that owners perceive they are getting from its franchised workshops.

Fiat finished just one point higher, posting the survey’s lowest scores for staff attitude and quality of workmanship.
