New Suzuki Ignis vs Dacia Duster
Suzuki’s new Ignis is an inexpensive way to get off-road ability. We find out if it’s a better choice than the recently revised Dacia Duster...

Our verdict
The Duster is an uncomplicated 4x4 that’s big and butch enough to satisfy those after a workhorse for many thousands of pounds less than any other ‘proper’ SUV. But for all that, it’s outclassed by the Ignis, which is nearly as practical (boot space aside), far better to drive on road and far better equipped. It’s a cheerful car that’s fantastically cheap to own and just as at home in town as it is on a dirt track, and the Duster just can’t match that breadth of abilities.
