Readers review the 2014 Citroen Grand C4 Picasso

The new Citroen Grand C4 Picasso seven-seat MPV is said to be more practical than the old car, cheaper to run and better to drive.

The use of lightweight materials means it weighs around 100kg less than its predecessor, which helps to offer significant fuel economy and CO2 emissions improvements.

Carbon dioxide emissions have been cut across the range by an average of 30g/km. With the smallest engine in situ – the 91bhp e-HDi Airdream – and the new automatic gearbox, the Grand C4 Picasso emits just 98g/km. It'll also do an official average of 74.3mpg.

The new Grand C4 Picasso has a longer wheelbase than its predecessor, so the vast and flexible cabin now has more space in the second and third rows of seating.

We invited a team of What Car? readers to take a look at the car and tell us what they thought of the latest model. Watch the video above to hear their verdicts.
