2019 Reliability survey

New cars are gaining ever-more complex pieces of safety and infotainment technology, from automatic emergency braking to online concierge services that can check where you are going and book you a parking space for when you arrive. That means there are more things than ever to go wrong, which is why we’ve launched the What Car? Reliability Survey.

Our aim is to gather information about the dependability of as many car models as possible and share this with you to help you make the most informed buying choices. As well as faults, we want to hear about the quality and cost of repair work on your cars, so we can tell you who will offer the best – and worst - service.
