If you're after a used convertible to enjoy the current patch of good weather, look no further than the previous-generation A3 Cabriolet. It's stylish, desirable and well built. Here's our pick of the Audi A3 Cabriolets we found in the What Car? approved used classifieds:
This is the cheapest A3 Cabriolet in the What Car? classifieds. It's a 1.9 TDI on an 08-plate that's done 90,000 miles. It's light blue with a beige leather interior and should be cheap to run thanks to an official fuel economy figure of 55.4mpg. It can be yours for just £9495.
For those who want something that hasn't done quite such a high mileage, there's this 2009 1.8 TFSI Sport that's done 24,757 miles. It comes with cruise control, air-conditioning and alloy wheels. It's on the market for £11,900.
The second diesel on the list is also a 1.9 TDI. It's a 2009 model that's done 60,000 miles. It certainly looks the part in white with a contrasting red roof and it's got a generous specification that includes alloy wheels and air-conditioning. It's on sale for £11,990.
What this 1.2 TFSI lacks in performance it makes up for in cheap running costs. This 2011 1.2 TFSI has just 19,000 miles on the clock and comes with air-conditioning and a leather interior. Its official fuel economy figure is an impressive 49.6mpg and it emits 132g/km of CO2. You can buy it for £13,992.
