Our verdict
The DS 4 Crossback is the easiest to place in this test: third. It may be the cheapest car here, but its poor ride and handling, coupled with its limited practicality, mean it simply can't compete with our other two SUV contenders.
Deciding a second and first place was a little more difficult. The Audi Q2 deserves plenty of praise for its handling, interior and infotainment system. It would win this test if it wasn't beaten on price and practicality by our victor.
So, in first place, we have the Seat Ateca. Its engine is just as good as the Q2's, plus its reasonable prices and spacious interior won us over, making it our used SUV of choice in this triple test.
