Used test: Ford Edge vs Kia Sorento

The Edge is Ford's largest SUV, but can it match the no-nonsense seven-seat practicality of the Kia Sorento?...

Used test: Ford Edge vs Kia Sorento

Our Verdict

The Ford Edge is a worthy large SUV because it’s decent to drive, offers competitive running costs and is very spacious inside. Unfortunately, it’s let down by its cheap-feeling interior, clunky infotainment system and lack of third-row seating.

So the Kia Sorento wins, but only by a slim margin. Its warranty is the longest on the market and it has a far nicer interior and a larger boot. It's a little disappointing to drive but decent enough.
