Its range is competitive and there’s plenty of standard kit, but its disappointing predicted depreciation and tight back seats hold it back from being a class leader.
The trim
See full equipmentIconic trim gives you all the kit available with the other trim levels, but adds a 12-speaker Harman Kardon sound system and a rear-view mirror camera. It’s quite expensive and doesn’t add much kit on top of Techno, so we wouldn’t recommend it.
The engine
See full engine specsAll versions of the Megane E-Tech are powered by a 215bhp electric motor and 60kWh battery. Performance is quite punchy, with 0-60mph taking 6.9 seconds during our tests. The official range is competitive too, at 285 miles.
