The Enyaq finished sixth out of 16 cars in the electric SUV class in our latest What Car? Reliability Survey with a good overall score of 94.2%. That places it above its Audi Q4 e-tron and VW ID 4 siblings, but below the Kia EV6 and Tesla Model Y.

As a brand, Skoda came 13th out of 31 manufacturers featured in our survey, with a score of 91.8%. That placed it above Peugeot and Volkswagen, but below Hyundai and Kia.

Used Skoda Enyaq reliability: the owners' view

In our latest Reliability Survey, Skoda Enyaq owners reported a mixed experience with reliability and dealer support. Several owners reported warning lights appearing without clear causes, with one mentioning a persistent drivetrain fault that took weeks to diagnose. Charging issues and infotainment glitches were also flagged, although these tended to be more annoying than serious.

More concerning for some owners was the dealer response. A number of readers expressed frustration with long repair times, often due to parts delays. One Enyaq owner waited over a month for a replacement inverter, while another described communication from the dealer as poor and unhelpful. That said, a few respondents praised their local dealers for handling problems quickly and providing courtesy cars during longer fixes.

Overall, the Enyaq's reliability record is patchy, with particular concerns around electrical faults and aftersales consistency.
