This is the new Citroen C4 Picasso, which will go on sale in the UK in September. Watch our video to see what the What Car? Reader Test Team thought of it at an exclusive preview.

Stylistically, the C4 Picasso is more futuristic than the current car. Themes from the company's DS models have been introduced; including the upgraded interior and lights.

The C4 Picasso has five seats that can be slid forwards and backwards, along with a 537-litre boot.

The dashboard has two screens: a 12-inch display shows sat-nav information, while a seven-inch touch-screen controls the air-conditioning, stereo and Bluetooth.

A variety of engines – predominantly diesels – will be available. The e-HDi 90 Airdream diesel has average economy of 74.3mpg and emissions of 98g/km.

Prices haven't been confirmed, but we expect them to be similar to those of the current model starting at around £19,000.
