I currently have the 1.8 millenium finished in bright yellow. It's a fully loaded car. I can't fault it. The only downfall has been the running costs. I have found it to be somewhat gutsy I have just traded it in at Ford for a 1.8 tdci zetec. I wouldn't have any other car than a Focus!
I'm lucky enough to have been able to keep hold of this car whilst purchasing a new 07 1.8 focus sport 11 months ago. This 52 plate red focus 1.6 flight( bought brand new for £8995 in dec 2002) has been incredible.it once averaged 51.4mpg on a 1208 miles tour of the scottish highlands, and regularly returns 45-50mpg(yes it is petrol!)its now just clocked 60,000 milesand apart from 4tyres(£214) and new discs and pads(£75)it is still going faultlessly strong.its still on its original exhaust.it is a pleasure to drive whether hassling along down twisty a/b roads to more gentle economical jaunts.it has and still is a truly stupendous car.i would love to know what percentage of focus owners trade in for another,as far as i'm concerned there is no better car.
This is actually an Ebony model with full leather interior. Its a fantastic car, a real pleasure to drive. It has 70,000 miles on the clock and still drive's like new. Its an 03 plate so i'm looking for something newer but can't find anything that comes close to being as good so looks like i'll be having another focus. It's sporty looking, fast, stylish, comfy, reliable, safe, the list really is endless! I'd recommend the focus to anyone.
I had a Y reg Focus for 4 years, and i have to say so far it's the best all rounder i have ever owned.
Cheap to run, good fun to drive it will just do what you want it to!
The best bit? It never went wrong, not once!
I only swapped it because I wanted something quicker!!
