    My car

I am on my 5th Micra and can only say that they get better and better. I have to disagree with What Car's boot size rating as I find that my micra will fit more in than most other superminis and the back seats slide forward to make the boot even more spacious. I and my friend are shopaholics and regularly visit discount shopping centres and the boot is big enough to hold all of our bargains! A feat in itself. My car does 250 miles to a tankful which is city driving, it also does the same on when on longer journeys.

    My car

I wrote a review of my new 2005 Micra 1.5 a couple years ago. On wishing to change in March this year 2008, I tried various vehicles including the Clio, 207 etc., but most of the superminis have become enormous, something I did not want. The Yaris seemed possible but the price didn't so I went back to my Nissan dealer and selected the new updated Micra.

Wow, they have done some good work. The seating is considerably improved, the little 1.5 86bhp diesel is magic and now is in the £35 tax band. It seems to have more oomph and power yet the computer is still stating 66mpg.

As there was an offer at the time, I was able to include parking sensors and fog lights.

My original Micra was totally fault free. This new one has all the good points of nippy driving, easy parking, brilliant on country and town roads..in fact a real pleasure and fun to drive. It is excellent for one driver plus a partner, plenty of storage with the sliding back seat, and comfortable, and I like the new attractive more mature look.

A delightful practical car with loads of personality and charm.

    My car

This is my fifth Micra since 1987. I would gladly tell you about all the problems....but I haven't had any! The car is good fun to drive, performance and handling is very good. Economy and reliability come as standard. What more do you want?
