Used test: Mazda 6 vs Skoda Superb: verdict

Buy either of these smart and spacious executive cars at four years old and you'll save yourself a handsome sum, but which one makes the better buy? We have the answer...

Mazda 6 vs Skoda Superb

Our verdict

The Mazda 6 is cheaper to buy than the Skoda Superb, not to mention more fuel efficient and reliable. It's also a quiet cruiser, yet handles corners with tidy handling.

However, the Superb is, well, exactly that – and it's worth the extra cash in our view. Its cavernous rear seat space and boot are simply unmatched in this class, while it rides very comfortably and feels classy inside. It’s more lavishly equipped, too.
