Max Adams has been at What Car? since 2017, primarily working on the used desk as a Used Cars Reporter writing used reviews and news stories, before progressing to his current role with the new car team as a Reviewer.
Max has a degree in English from Leeds Trinity University and has also attended the post-graduate Automotive Journalism course at Coventry University, learning valuable insights into online and magazine Journalism.
Max’s current responsibilities include creating and updating new car reviews, attending national and international car launches, assisting Consumer editor Claire Evans to compile the data for the annual What Car? Reliability Survey, being a part of the judging panel for the What Car? Awards, and being the road test representative for the yearly Camping and Caravan Club Tow car awards.
He has also written for both Autocar and PistonHeads in his previous used cars role.
