The MG ZS EV is roomy, well equipped and extremely well priced. The entry-level SE is the one to go for because of its mix of low costs, range and equipment, but if you need to do lots of longer journeys, consider the Long Range SE.
The trim
Entry-level SE trim gets you 17in alloys, automatic LED headlights, adaptive cruise control, climate control, keyless entry, rear parking sensors and a rear-view camera. We don't think it's worth forking out extra for Trophy trim.
The engine
This engine's lack of a turbocharger means you need to rev it quite hard to get the best from it. Once it does get going, though, performance is very similar to the pricier 1.0T-GDI.
