The Vauxhall Insignia has always been more popular with company car drivers than private buyers. In fact, four out of five Insignias are bought by businesses.

This means the new version has to get it just right in the areas that matter most to a company.

The most important change to the 2013 car is the reduction in CO2 emissions two new diesel engines take the Insignia down to 99g/km for the first time.

Vauxhall has also announced a raft of price reductions across the Insignia range, with the entry-level car now costing 16,279 almost 2000 cheaper than the outgoing model.

This will certainly help to keep the accountants happy, while also reducing personal company car tax contributions.

Aside from the financial considerations, how a car looks and feels is also an important measure of its success, so we invited a collection of What Car? readers and potential Vauxhall Insignia buyers along to take a look at the updated version.
