Used test: Jaguar I-Pace vs Tesla Model S verdict
Two premium electric cars do zero-emissions battle as we line up a Jaguar and a Tesla. You can save a packet on both by buying used, but which should you go for?...

Our verdict
The Tesla Model S is good to drive and more practical than the Jaguar I-Pace. However, its mixed build quality and somewhat lacklustre luxury mean it lacks the premium feel and polish that its rival has in spades.
The I-Pace has a significantly longer real-world range between charges, too, and it rides more smoothly. So, despite reliability being far from stellar – the Model S is in the same boat here – the I-Pace is an impressively well-rounded package, and takes a narrow victory.
