The Seat Leon Estate is a versatile and spacious estate car that's stylish and fun to drive, while various engine and trim options give used car buyers plenty of choice. Unfortunately, it suffers from poor reliability, with common complaints regarding electronic issues impacting its overall appeal.
The trim
The entry-level has 16in alloy wheels, air-conditioning, keyless start, cruise control and metallic paint. Upgrading to SE Dynamic is worth the extra though.
The engine
As the 0-60mph time of 10.6 seconds suggests, the 1.5 TSI 115 engine serves up enough performance to keep up with traffic but that’s your lot. It's your cheapest option and our recommended engine, but we can see people being tempted by its more powerful counterparts.
