Used Volkswagen Tiguan 2016-present review

Review continues below...

What alternatives should I consider to a used Volkswagen Tiguan estate?

The BMW X1 is the sort of premium product the Tiguan now faces, this generation having moved slightly upmarket from the first. The X1 is spacious, practical and has a high-quality interior. On top of that, it’s good to drive, with fine handling and a great infotainment system.

The Volvo XC40 is another quality product. It was our 2018 What Car? Car of the Year winner, and with good reason. It’s enjoyable to drive, practical and good-looking inside and out. Its interior is solidly constructed with swathes of soft-touch plastics. It’s well equipped, too. Examples will have only just have come on to the used car market but will be worth seeking out.
