USED Ford Fiesta Hatchback (02 - 08)

My car

This is a fantastic car for the money, and it is also a very grown up car, and still fun to drive (plus it shifts).

My car

The car handles well and is smart in appearance but there its good points end.

The noise levels in this car, ie wind noise, transmission noise and road noise, are horrendous.

The car has been in many times to dealers to remedy noise from power steering when idling. They apparently do not know how to cure the fault and now inform me that this level of noise is normal!

To conclude, I would not recommend this car to anyone. Ford apparently does not know the meaning of sound insulation. The only optional extra I would recommend for this car is ear defenders! And I cannot wait to change it for another car (obviously not a Ford!).

My car

A few niggles. The clutch always feels as if it's about to go, with the take-up being at the top of its travel. The lights are very good, having had the previous model.

I drive a few big cars for a living and this feels no different. Having read the text, I don't find the ride hard, the car is very positive and accurate when pressed hard. The only critism I have is with the after-sales service. Indifferent is the word I would use.

My car

The most amazing car in its class for driver enjoyment.

It holds the road so well. The interior is sturdy and easy to use. Gear changes are slick and feel very positive. I am 6'3 and still have room to be even taller! The room in the back feels as much in my seating position as a Megane that I hired while on holiday!

Its looks are top class too, especially in 3dr.

Services are cheap and parts very easy on the pocket (A new wing mirror in my case, as it got smashed)!

What a wonderful little car!
