The Q3 is practical, has plenty of tech and is decent to drive. However, the Range Rover Evoque and Volvo XC40 are both classier inside, more comfortable and are, ultimately, better all-rounders.
The trim
Even sportier styling than you get with S line trim, thanks to enormous 20in alloys, a black grille and a grey bodykit. It's well equipped, too, but very expensive.
The engine
This 187bhp 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine is available exclusively with four-wheel drive and automatic gearbox, so it isn't cheap. Unless performance is high on the list of your priorities, the cheaper 35 TFSI is a better buy.
