I have just had a V6 SRX for 2 weeks in the US and covered 1500 miles in it. Overall I was very impressed with the car, the cabin is a lovely placed to be with wood, leather and a fantastic base stereo system. Its a very comfortable car with fine handling and as has been mentioned the air Conditioning is superb even when driving through Death Valley with the outside temperature over 120. The V6 was sufficiently quick but it did sound very course at high revs, far worse than my diesel BMW does. Overall I averaged 16.5mpg (equivalent to 19.8 metric mpg) which isn't bad. I'd be very tempted to buy one here if they did a V6 diesel model.

I have owned a 2004 V8 model since new. It has a great V8 engine, plenty of power on tap with a great soundtrack once above 4000 rpm. The car comes fully loaded with kit, a fantastic panorama sunroof and all the other luxury items you need. A/C is fantastic, better than the Merc's in a hot climate. Driving it is very comfortable, especially on long journeys. Handling is good but not really entertaining. Fuel economy is awful! 12mpg average for city, 16mpg highway. Overall it is a very different vehicle, unique looking. I like it, but just wish it had better fuel economy
