2017 Nissan Micra 1.0 71 review - verdict
A new entry-level petrol engine for the Nissan Micra offers a cheap, low-powered way into the line-up...
This new 1.0-litre Micra may be cheaper than the equivalent naturally aspirated units in the Fiesta (1.1-litre) and Ibiza (1.0-litre) , but on the whole, those rivals are quicker, almost as fuel efficient, better to drive and more practical.
The Micra 1.0's price might be tempting, but we’d still recommend shelling out a bit more to get the turbocharged 0.9-litre engine; you’ll be grateful for the added flexibility in the performance in the long run.
