2022 Citroën Ami verdict and specs
The ultra-low cost, uniquely designed Citroën Ami electric two-seater is being considered for UK sale. Does it make sense?...
The Citroën Ami has to be one of the most polarising cars we've driven, and its estimated price and intended use must be factored into any verdict. Although it’s slow and has a minuscule range, it’s predicted to cost about half as much as its nearest rival, the Renault Twizy, while offering far better protection from the elements
It’s therefore ideal for a small niche of city dwellers with specific requirements, but the obvious compromises mean it will be a far harder sell for most drivers.
